A Personal Trainer will make you work hard for an hour. You will be tired at the end of your session and you will be sweating through your eyes. You will be sore all over and hopefully you wont get hurt in the process. But What have you really done in that hr? Is that the same workout routine the last client did before you? The same thing the next client will do after you? Was there any thought put into your workout today, or just another workout your trainer found on the internet that sounded good?
Every person, whether you are a stay at home mom, a weekend warrior or a professional athlete has a weakness. A GOOD personal trainer will evaluate your entire body regularly, find your weakness, and then develop a program specifically for you to build on your weaknesses, while focusing on your goals. Balance, strengths, cardio conditioning, coordination, agility, flexibility and focus are all areas in which a GOOD trainer should evaluate you on. This is a GOOD trainers goal that they make for themselves for you.
I always tell my clients, "You have your goals, I have mine." Lets work together to reach BOTH our goals. - Isaac Gredinberg Fit For Speed
